Why I ask for tips
I'm Michael, an independent developer. I started StateWage in June 2026. In the four months since, I have built 24 paycheck and tax calculators and a page for each of the 50 states and DC.
What it costs me: the domain, and the hours I spend checking the numbers against IRS publications and state withholding guides. The federal tables were last checked in August 2026.
About 10 people a month find StateWage on Google. Tips pay for the domain and give me time to keep the tables correct when the rules change.
